Congratulations to all of you that made it up to the Impeach Rally, unfortunately, I didn't make it. The volvo just stopped in Tijuana, we switched people over to the other vehicles, I waited two hours for a tow truck, who ended up ripping me off for $150.00, waited again at the Border for two hours, pulled over to secondary and waited an addtional hour while they searched the car and the tow truck which was ridiculous, drove with the tow driver to Otay Mesa whilst he played Banda music really loud which gave me a splitting headache, waited another three hours for the mechanic, then waited for Mike to pick me up.

I ate my sandwhich and cried.

Carumba.

Anyway, gald everyone else made it there safely, and looking forward to the next one.

Heh guys, here are the logistics for the Saturday, April 28th Rally in San Diego to Impeach Bush

We will meet up at the park in San Antonio Del Mar at 9:00AM.

To defer toll charges and the cost of gas, we are carpooling.

Mike can get three in the big truck, I can get at least two in the volvo.

If you are not driving your vehicle, it can be parked safely at Mike & Maggie's.

Please RSVP Maggie because she is making sandwhiches for everyone, chips and sodas.

We MUST leave San Antonio Del Mar at 10:00 AM sharp, due to the high traffic on Saturday morning at the Border and the Border wait.

We should be up in San Diego about 1:00 or 2:00, the event begins at 4:00, Impeachment Rally across the street from the Convention Center in MILK Park from 4:00 - 5:30 PM. It is unclear whether we have access to the convention floor, we will find out.

Parking is limited and expensive in
San Diego, Mike will scout out the best deals.It'll be a long day, so maybe we can converge on a restaurant in Rosarito afterwards, any thoughts on that would be great.

STATE OF SHOCK VIRGINIA TECH

Hello out there. I don't know about you guys, but I have had a sickening feeling since the Virginia Tech shootings. What a complete waste of life, and the heartbreak and sorrow for the family and friends must be wrenching; beautiful, young and smart lives just wiped out. Unbelievable.

I stop what I'm doing and check the headlines on MSNBC, not out of morbidity, but out of shock. Have any of you looked up from this tragic story and looked around you, and thought how precious and fragile each day is to you and your loved ones? I have, alot.

This story just cannot be minimized,although I look at some sites which are crying that our right to bear arms will be jeopardized now. Well, I'm not sure about that, but I am sure that a long look needs to be given to the treatment and care of the mentally ill in our country.

Perhaps you might think this is callous, and has no room on the same page of this grievous event - that it is too soon to think about other matters in the world, and maybe I'm wrong, but look at this, this happened today:

Hi guys, no postings because of the painting project, which has now turned into a drywall and tile project and by my calculations if everything goes as planned, we will not be done with this for a couple of more months. But, it really needed to be done. We have another neighbor down the street doing the same thing, we bump into each other getting some air outside bedraggled in our paint covered clothes. The closest I get to the computer is maybe an hour at 11:00PM, and first thing in the morning to check the headlines. Today I'm taking some time out and doing general clean up.

I wanted to say we are so sorry for you in the Midwest on the East coast with that nor'easterner, and hope you are all surviving the worst. Nothing dramatic here in the weather, other than the winds, and still no rain.

NOT SO FAST - LNG IN MEXICO

Of course, we are all rejoicing over the fact that the proposed LNG Plant that was supposed to be built at the Coronado Islands is...for the time being...dead in the water. But why? It was not because any lawsuits were addressed, only because a major player backed out...for the time being.

I for one am not convinced this issue is completely dead. Look at all of the other plants which are being considered:

By Sonora Pacific: Puerto Libertad, Sonora.

By the Mexican Federal Electricity Commission: Manzanillo, Colima.

By Respol: Lazaro Cardenas, Michoacon.

By Shell Oil: Altamira, Tamupaulipas.

By the Mexican Port Authority: Topolobampo, Sinaloa.

And, it is not unbelievable to assume that another huge Oil Corporation will in the future offer Tijuana and Rosarito a deal which they simply won't be able to refuse; sweeten the pot with badly needed infrastructure, if only to accomodate Mexico's growing population.

So, guess you guys who are buying into the Trump Towers can breath a sigh of relief...for now. And, for the time being, we don't have to look at a feo eyesore out our bayview windows, and for now, the environment can score one. But personally, I do not trust the Mexican Government. Afterall, they are going to have to finance infrastructure sooner or later in this neck of the woods, and remember, only 20% of the people here pay into Federal Income Tax. How else are they going to pay for it? The Cartel guys are too busy these days with their construction companies building high rises, condos and houses up and down the gold coast trying to lure in dummy gringos and they don't give a shit, they just want to launder their money and get out of Dodge.

Whatever the case, the Mexican Government will be prepared and ready - they are still holding the land at La Joya which they seized, and if you get a chance,check it out; this land is not being held for an expansion of the Punta Bandera Treatment Plant. Look at the roads and location. This land is being held to accomodate a future LNG Plant.

RETHINK 911

Heh guys, hope you all had a nice Easter Holiday. We went out Friday night, and in town there was a procession of hundreds of people with candles. It was quite moving. Most of us got up from our chairs in the restaurant to watch, & I struck up a conversation with one family who had just driven down from San Francisco, he told me gas prices up there were $3.80 a gallon. Luckily, down here we are about $1.80 below that.

Other updates: the last little farm set up in Rosarito next to Calimax has been torn down. We are still painting and making headway, maybe we will make to the outside yet.

I'm not going to put up any pics or music to this blog, just a link which will take you to hundreds of other links, and later on when I have a little more time, I'd like to do some more on censure in the press, both from the right and yes, from the left. By golly, I think we are already in a Fascist state.

I want to plug this demonstration. Yea, I know, you probably all are heaving a deep sigh and thinkin, right - truckers, what a bunch of rednecked yahoos.

I supported Bill Clinton and I really thought NAFTA would work. Well, it doesn't work. The proof is obvious: In Mexico and throughout Latin America, NAFTA has only made slaves out of people. Thousands and thousands of them are trying to escape the 6 day, 12-14 hour work days, lucky to make $50.00 bucks a week bullshit by running across the border. I would probably do the same thing if I were in their position. And now, as part of this disastrous agreement,here come the trucks!

I can tell you first hand, you do not want Mexican trucks on US Highways. These trucks, regardless of the spin they will try to sell you, are just plain not safe. Further, it is, since our Government refuses to legitimize drugs and create treatment centers, a perfect opportunity for drugs to enter the USA. Of course they will, you would be naive to think otherwise. They already do, consistantly!!!!

We live in Mexico, and believe me, one of the biggest problems is driving, it is a fucking disaster. I cannot tell you how many times I have personally been forced off the road by Mexican trucks and buses, they are maniacs. Driving down here is like going into combat, you are always on red alert, always. And if you aren't, you are dead meat.

The truth is, there is not an infrastructure to deal with and to inspect these incoming trucks. That is a fact. If you do not believe me, I invite you to come here, and I will personally take you on a tour of the Border crossings in the San Diego county areas.

Please support our truckers, visit their site, hang out, listen to their stories. And, you know what, yea, they're blue collar sons of guns, but these guys might be the ones who save you or a member of your family's life by their persistance and tenacity to fight incoming unsafe trucks from Mexico.

Am I on a Diane Feinstein rage? You bet, infact saying her name makes me sick, so I'm just going to call her Finkelstein from now on. Am I still pissed off about yesterday? Sort of, I think one of the most enraging things is to be attacked by a 'true believer'. True believers are dangerous.

Anyway, I'm probably more pissed off at myself, because I missed this one completely - we were on vacation and it was the Holidays. Do I feel sucker punched again? Yep. Now I understand why they asked me over on Dem.com why I was so surprised about Finkelstein. DUH, and boy do I apologize. Ignorance is bliss, and regarding Finkelstein I was probably the most mis-informed person on the planet.

I had a really bad fucking day. See that logo above? What does it say? Fight Ignorance. Right. Well, here was my experience with Buzzflash, and it wasn't pretty.

I have been heart broken and upset since I read the story on the Dianne Feinstein scandal (covered below under 'Betrayal'). Both my husband and I have been hard pressed to find many Left leaning sites covering this story with the exception of afterdowningstreet ( a FANTASTIC site) and Counterpunch(a TRULY FANTASTIC site). Air America Radio blog was receptive to the initial Metroactive report, people were pissed off and wanted heads to to roll, Democrat or Republican who violated our trust in them and profited from the Iraq war. Democrats.com were also supportive. So, thank you all for that.

Being a good citizen, I felt that this story needed to be pursued, especially by
Democrats, and since it had not achieved headline status, I felt it should be submitted where everyone could read it instead of the hush-hush status it was enjoying. Let's know who the traitors and sell outs are, regardless of what party they come from. Afterall, we are talking about a woman whose family was certainly enjoying the rewards of an illegal and lousy war, getting richer and richer as the years rolled by while our young men are fucking dying and coming home to shit treatment, which, by the way, was part of Diane Feinstein's job to oversee the conditions of these crappy facilities. And, furthermore, Metroactive documented everything - no wonder Diane Feinstein stepped down, who wouldn't?

Boy, was I wrong. At first, I published just my blog with the links to the Counterpunch story, which, I might add, contained the links to the Metro story.

Wham! Some snot nosed punk warns me that Counterpunch is trash and financed by the right, the writer is a fool,and the link to the Metroactive only shows disco bars. What a lie.

You know me, I'll fight to the finish.

So what developed during the entire day was a verbal spar between some pimple faced punk who didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, insult after insult hurled at me - that I was a closet neo-con, a rethug, etc. He outright twisted my words, so obviously it was sickening. What the creep didn't realize is that he/she had drawn a line in the fucking sand. Noone calls me a neo-con - those are fighting words and if they do it in person, it is highly likely that I will kick the living shit out of them and they will regret the day they ever met me. Lucky for this person we were not in the same room together, my frustration levels with the Bush regime are beyond my control at this point in my life.

I posted the article twice more, this time eliminating my blog, and posting the headline under the Counterpunch site, then get this, under the afterdowningstreet site article. Both of those were removed also, along with more name calling and absolute absurdity. I admit, I bacame foul mouthed and invited this person, along with Diane Feinstein to go suck on Liebermanns dick, amongst other great oneliners. You can only call me a closet neo con once and expect any sort of rationality from me. Sorry, that's just the way it is. He even poked fun at my blog. Well it's my fucking blog for Christ sake, fuck him.

Now, who the fuck is going to delete an article by afterdowningstreet? Which gives me real concern of where exactly Buzzflash is coming from. Are they on Diane's payroll? Or, perhaps, they are on AIPAC's payroll. Well, whoever it is, I know this, Buzzflash does not want you to know about the Diane Feinstein scandal, and that folks, is a shame.

Loyalists are always a pain in the ass. I've always despised them, from the loyalists of LBJ, to the loyalists of Nixon, to the loyalists of Reagan, any loyalist, especially when the icon they are being loyal to is a goddamn blood sucking crook or liar.

I remember my Dad in shock, shaking his head that day, saying over and over again,"I smell a rat." Daddy Eddie loved JFK, he brushed shoulders with him when JFK ferried the guys off of Choiseul after the Raid On Choiseul. I remember my Mom saying that day, "We'll all be dead before the truth comes out." I'm almost 100% sure the world would be a much different place today if JFK and Bobby had lived.

One more before I go back to the paint brushes. A few years back, after the deadly earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia, a gal wrote in to the Democratic Underground, quite innocently, that perhaps the earthquake was caused by all of the nuclear & military testing in the area. As the story goes, The New York Times quickly picked up on her comment and ran with it to show that DUer's were quirky and kooky.

The poor woman was chastised, humiliated and banned from DU. DU even sent an apologetic letter to The New York Times, trying to distance itself from from any notions that they were "out there."

Many people came to the defense of this woman, not so much advocating her question, but her right to ask a question. I was one of those, and for that, I was also banned from the Democratic Underground. I also called their leader a Nazi for imposing a gag order on the woman. WTF, I was pissed off anyway because I had been sending folks over at the Coooking Section bottles of Mexican Vanilla and Chiapas Coffee for only the cost, not the posting charges, and half of them were not reimburising me, including MODERATORS even after they agreed to. Assholes.

So this brings me to the latest earthquake which just happened yesterday in the Soloman Islands. Fortunately, I cannot be banned here. My hypothesis is this: Could it be possible that the earthquake was the groaning spirit rumblings from WWII vets who sacrificed their lives in the bloody battles on the Soloman Islands, thousands of them, in response to Bush and his treatment of present day Vets?

NO PAGEANT IN OAXACA

Heh guys, we've been painting and I'm pooped out. And that's just the inside of the house - seven rooms to go, don't think we'll make it to the outside; I just realized that 10 years ago, this was a snap, now....heehee. Voltaren creme works wonders.

I'm still going to try to squeeze in a blog here and there, and I want to thank the positive responders to the You tube video on the last San diego anti-war march, god knows when I'll be able to go over there again.

So, here's the latest from Oaxaca, not to be found on the mainstream media. Ruiz and Trump, neither one can be trusted and ask yourself REALLY why did The Donald pull out? Jeez, he's only known for years now that Oaxaca has been a bloodbath, perhaps he has plans later for putting up another high rise condo project there to fuck things up like he's doing here, and didn't want the bad press. Who knows?
