Last week, the Mexican government announced that since the deployment of Army troops, the crime rate had actually decreased in Tijuana. The reason - really - why the crime rate has decreased, is because the TJ cops are not making any arrests !

The border is a clusterfuck, an absolute free for all with traffic backed up the ying yang. The Army is not patrolling the streets, they are stationed at various units stopping traffic and checking vehicles. The people in Tijuana are edgy and looking over their shoulders constantly, no protection. Of course, by now, eager drug smugglers are finding back routes across the border, duh. They did that day one after the Army arrived.

Where we live, in a so-called guarded and gated community, three vehicles were stolen last week. God knows what else has been going down in the other parts of TJ.

We are keeping a low profile and keeping everything locked up tighter than a drum.

8. Seek to recoup royalties lost to the government because of an Interior Department error in leases issued in the 1990's !

9. Bolster terrorism fighting efforts in accordance with the 911 Report with more cargo inspections!

The San Diego Union has removed the story on Hank Rohn, the Mayor of Tijuana who stated that he wants his bodyguard "back by his side". This is the bodyguard recently released from prison who shot & killed the journalist and co-founder of ZETA, Hector Felix Miranda.

The photo of Hank Rohn above was taken from the original San Diego Union story from yesterday.

Obviously, the Union is scared. Unfortunately, by withholding the news or trying to obliterate it completely, they are encouraging the myth of Hank Rohn as just being a regular sort of guy.

Americans have the right to know that Hank Rohn is a killer, and comes from a family of killers. Perhaps then, they would rethink spending millions of dollars in tourism
related industries in Tijuana, until Tijuana cleans up its act and throws Rohn into jail where he belongs.

What a slap in the face to unknowing and naive Americans, Journalists throughout the world, and the Mexican people who oppose Rohn.

The Guard Changes In Tijuanna !!!

For any out there who think that maybe Calderon is trying to get a grip on corruption in Tijuanna, think again.

At this moment, I would not advise anyone to come into TJ, there are no Policia ! Calderon has replaced them all with the Mexican Army, who we all know, are just as corrupt as their predecessors.

I had a friend down in Maneadero, and this was years ago, she said:"I sort of miss the cartel guys, at least they helped out the people - now that the Army is running the dope through here, we don't get anything, they keep all the money."

The scary thing, well there are several, about the Army, is that these are young dudes with itchy fingers, not to mention their tactics used against the Mexican people in Chiapas, in alliance with the Mexican State Police & the Mexican Federal Police.

So, before you start saying oh boy, Calderon is on a roll fighting the baddies, remember, Calderon is a bad guy, and these are the groups which he favors to continue running the drugs. Pretty simple. I think we were all wondering after the so-called election, which cartel Calderon would go with. Well, now we know. Heehee, smart old dog he is, won't have to give these Federal employees a raise, shoot, they are already in on the payroll.
