BETWEEN THE LINES COMING TO ENCINITAS !!!

Hi everyone, I received this email this morning and wanted to pass it along to any of you so that you can sign up for email alerts and purchase tickets if you want. Other news, went up to States yesterday and it was very quiet in TJ. I talked to alot of the vendors waiting in line, who were genuinely NOT pushy and very cordial. They did not seem fearful. Watch the Union Trib for comments from amexican and others who are saying two things: that this recent shootout in Tijuana was either an internal cleansing of those who have broken the Mafia's code, or the work of General Polito who it is claimed also cleaned up kidnappers in Sinaloa. Some are claiming that the very wealthy have hired their own guns called the "White Guard", and this was payback for kidnappings and killings in this area. Picked up a copy of ZETA and hopefully I will get an opportunity to sit down this weekend and read it and see what their impressions are.
(BTW I have to add that everywhere I went, honestly, people are shocked and complaining about the food and gas prices. Still, the best bang for your buck are the veggies & hormone free meat, canned tomatoes and olive oil at Henry's out in Eastlake & the Point Loma stores. (not in Chula Vista, his prices are high) Albertson's does have whole Foster Farms chickens on sale until and including this coming Tuesday for .69 a pound. I could not believe with my own little eyes a bottle of cooking oil is up to almost $6.00. Once in a blue moon we will be bad and have Nathan's Hot dogs, but I flinched when I saw the 8-pack at almost $7.00, so no dogs for me.)
Okay here is the email, then I have to run - click the link to contact the guys:
" Hello Friends,
We are wrapping up production on BETWEEN THE LINES and the film should be completed by June 1st.
It is our pleasure to announce that JOHN MILIUS is narrating BETWEEN THE LINES. Mr. Milius is an award winning feature film director and writer. Among his many projects, Mr. Milius co-wrote "Apocalypse Now" as well as directed and co-wrote "Big Wednesday". It's an honor having Mr. Milius participate in our film.
We have scheduled two, limited engagement screenings this summer, benefiting local veteran's charities.
A San Diego area benefit screening will be held at Hansen Surfboards in Encinitas, California on the evening of Thursday, June 26 at 8PM. This event will benefit the Rick Thomas Veterans Counseling Center in San Diego.
The Orange county benefit screening will be on the evening of Friday, July 25 at 8PM, at the Hunington Beach Art Center. This event will benefit the Long Beach Veterans Hospital Prosthetics and Orthotics Lab.
As soon as tickets go on sale we will give you all advance notification and all the details in the newsletter. Seating is very limited so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
The possibility of other veteran's charity benefit screenings (including the Los Angeles area) is very likely.
Thanks for all of your support and we'll be in touch soon,
Ty, Scott and Troy
